Should sign Mack anyway. Although he wants a 4 year deal. It gives us another option. Williams is having the worst season of his career. Im hoping he can turn it around. But until he does it'd be nice to go small with Mack at the three.

Mack is 6'7" I would not call that small for a SF.

If Mack were "all that" he would have been signed by the Rockets or some other team by now. There is probably more to the story than any of us knows about.

I just want some resolution to this whole Mack deal, and yes, I want him in a Rocekts uniform. I don't see much else to get that score at his pace who knows the team, coach, etc.

Walt is 6'8", and less athletic than Mack.

Mack may be a more consistent offensive threat, and a better defender too. So, why haven't we made this move yet?

I think Mack is waiting on a 4-year contract that ain't coming. He should sign with whoever he can. I hope it's with us.

W.Williams is having a horrible season, but he is still a better all-round player than Smack. Mack is a streakier outside threat, and maybe slightly better beyond the arc, but the Wizard is(was) a more consistent weapon. Williams can create his own shot and has the tools to penetrate to the hole, while Mack is decent at driving which he uses by feeding off his pump-fake three. Wizard is bigger and also a significantly better post-up threat. While Mack is faster and a better defender (not saying much).

But the fact is that Mack fits this team better. Walt would have been perfect for this team 2 years ago, but the times they are a 'changin. I honestly think Mack would not do much better if he were to start than the Wizard, the thing is they are both more effective when coming off the bench.

If after 10 more games, Walt's shooting woes continue, it would be the wise thing to do.

If his woes continue, who would want him? Doesn't anyone remember the MacLean/Maloney situation? When you're a scrub with a nice contract, you're untradeable.
