Chris Paul was the #1 loser of the off season.

 

But Kenny Smith said his skill set isn't needed here . No wonder no one wants to hire that idiot to coach their team. There's a big difference between entertainers and basketball junkies. Him and Chuck are entertainers, they shouldn't be talking basketball.

 

If Houston manages too win a title this year, it is going to drastically alter alot of narratives.

I loved the read, OP. Nice to see SI putting out positive stories again (they used to do that a lot in the '80's and then lost their way) about the Rockets, and this one about Chris was on target. So why not take the series?

All the talking heads, even those with good things to say about our team, will be shocked if we can pull it off, so why not shock the Hell out of them by taking the Western Conference? Why not shock the Hell out of the self-appointed "winners of the West," the Oakland "Whiners," by beating them and taking away the Finals appearance they've assumed was theirs before the playoffs even started? We can do it, if we send our team positive vibes, and if our guys play like we know they can.
