Marbury way ahead of the pack with 22%.

Kind of surprised to see Stephen Jackson and Ron on the list.

probably because he's regarded as unpredictable. Who knows if he truly is, but personally I could see that as a hindrance to wanting to play with him.

Because he's a disruptive lunatic flake. If you meant why he is only 9%, it's probably because he's controlled himself this season more than usual.

    Why is T-Mac number 5?

Because he doesn't involve his teammates in the offense (aka he only passes the ball if he thinks he will get credited with an assist) and is lazy on defense.

...and takes credit for wins and blames losses on a lack of team effort or the fact that he plays on "average teams".

I am guessing the reasons are....

Marbury - Would you want to play with anyone who calls himself Starbury? He could not get along with Garnett, one of the few stars who does not demand the ball all the time. No one knows what Marbury wants, not even he himself.

Ron Artest and Stephen Jackson - Unpredictability. You have a better chance of predicting weather for next week than predicating their behavior for next couple of days. I love both players but that's because I watch them on TV. If they explode, I can always switch off the TV and carry on with my life. But not the teammates that have to play with him. Interestingly enough both are fearless, shoot too many 3s (a bunch of them just pulling up on defender's face), can play tough defense, and love to dribble into crowd despite not having the greatest ball handling skills. Oh yeah, both were stars of the Palace brawl. Ron Artest garnered more points simply because he has better street cred.

Kobe Bryant - No matter what team Kobe is on, it will always be all about Kobe. If it's not he will create problems. Biggest ego in the game. If he didnt have the talent to match that ego he might have suffered Marbury's fate. Even Jesus would have to be careful with what he does and say with Kobe on the team.

Tracy McGrady - Has put his teammates under the bus on several occasions. When things are going great, according to him he forced his will onto God. When things are not doing well, well, let's share the blame. Judging by his comments to the media you would think it's T-Mac and a bunch of his minions. It's either this or not many players would want to be cursed playing along someone who will guarantee you a first round playoff exit.

Gilbert Arenas - If there were any doubts about Arena's selfishness by his play on court, he made sure to erase them by his comments off the court. Jacks up senseless comments to the media as much he jacks up ill-advised 3s from the parking lot. Great entertainer, but a lousy teammate.

Because he is the antithesis of a winner and a poor excuse for a team mate. The only reason he isn't higher is because he doesn't get in fights (because Bobby Jackson almost beat him up so he learned his lesson) and he doesn't get into trouble off court.

I guess its not a big deal that the best player in the NBA, Kobe, is #3? More players rather play with T-Mac than Kobe. :D

    Different question different answer.
If they can only choose between kobe and tmac, the result will be definitely different.

I'm suprised AI didn't make the list. If the pistons keep winning, you'd think the whole pistons would vote on him.
