    "if price/length is right."

Phew, glad I saw those words.

Yep, saw that. He should have a full article in the morning that should shed some light to Morey's plans. Chris Mannix is VERY reliable and should be taken seriously.

RT @LEXthePEX Sorry basketball question, anything up Daryl Morey's sleeve ... Spoke to Daryl tonight. Rockets column up in the morning.

Very interesting. Les is probably looking hard at this, trying to decide if it's worth a roll of the dice to get the big fella locked in at (hopefully... damn well better be) a much lower salary.

Free health insurance should be enough.

Get him back the season. We don't need him as our franchise player but he can be a very good role player for us.

    NO, please.

But, ultimately, it's all about money. Yao's obviously a cash cow, and management's going to treasure this international icon and milk every last dollar out of him. He's a substantial source of revenue, and he attracts widespread attention to the team. Hell, a few of the guys have Chinese shoe deals.

    Freaking hilarious!

I'd sign him to a two year vet minimum contract at the most.

I assume this is the tweet we're talking about here? Ok just checking. :p ;)

But direct link to the tweet is...you see under the tweet where it says "12 hours ago via web" or "1 minute ago via web" or whatever the case is. Click that "12 hours ago" or "1 minute ago" and will give you the link to that particular tweet. Sorry if you have trouble understanding what I just said, heh, but hopefully you made sense of it :) Nevermind, looks like you got it.

I'm guessing even after Yao's playing days are over, they are gonna give him a job of some sort.

I'd do a lb of Kung Pao chicken every game that Yao plays.

there's no risk in giving him a one year deal at the league minimum.

No surprise there. Keep him in houston to keep hauling in all the chinese business deals, even though there is a slim chance he'll be back.
