I am so sick of listening to Peyton Manning telling me how great at football he is. His voice is horrible, he shamelessly advertises for every single product known to mankind, every other commercial on Sunday has his big ugly face being r****ded on it, and the underlying message in every commercial he makes is "Look at me, I'm good at football." Unlike other stars who make advertisements, Manning has absolutely no shame. He has got to be the biggest narcissist in the history of the NFL. Discuss.
Peyton Manning is on TV more than anybody on the planet. At first it was cute, now its incredibly annoying.
Hey, I guess that's better than being in every other commercial and not being very good, like Reggie Bush.
I think he's a pretty good commercial actor...at least compared to other athletes....and the guy backs up those commercials with his play on the field. And I can't believe that Reggie Bush is the second most marketable player in the league when he's done NOTHING.
I think the fact Peyton is sort of nerdy makes his commercials funnier. I'm a fan of commercial time Manning.
You see, its like this. Peyton Manning is the best QB in the NFL. Personally, I think there is Peyton Manning...a small dropoff....Tom Brady...a huge dropoff...and then everybody else. As a Texans fan, I dread the fact that we play in the same division as this guy. The best player in the most popular league in American sports is likely going to be on your TV a lot so get used to it. On a side note, what has happened to the QB position in the NFL? When I was growing up there seemed to be multiple stars at the QB position (Elway, Marino, Moon, Montana, Kelly, Esiason just to name a few that pop into my head).
Who would you rather see... Joe Namath or Peyton Manning?!?!?!?! In a commercial or just plain on TV, that is... I'm going with Peyton Manning is much easier on the eyes and ears.
I love Peyton Manning commercials. He's the man. I don't see him as a narcissist at all; he just makes fun of himself. Him being on the screen is better than 99% of commercials out there.
I wanna see Peyton Manning do a parody of the infamous drunk Joe Namath with whats her face. Perhaps the next time he's on snl or something. And yeah....I think he's kinda good so he's supposed to be marketed like that, and the fact that he was super bowl mvp
Peyton "Laser Rocket Arm" Manning? Yeah he's pretty damn good. If someone threw million dollar endorsement deals at you...would you throw them away? Dont hate a guy who's trying to drain every single dollar he can for his future. You'd do the same thing to if you were as good.
Maybe you all watch too much television. The only Manning commercial playing right now that I can think of is the one where he is in a hallway and Harrison has sharks around him. Oh, also the one with his mom and Leinart. That's two commercials... What are the other ones (airing this season) ?
