I can't believe people here were already taking about facing the Lakers when we still have to close out a very good team
We saw how easy it was for teams to shut down Yao. We're lucky we've gotten this far (considering the score of the last two games and Artest's amazing shooting percentage). There are so many things we're doing right now that we can't get away if we do play the Lakers.
word!!! game 6 is our 7!!!! because if we lose game 6 there is no point in watching game 7 since we will get it handed to us, but I dont think that will happen. I see us blowing portland out at home finally in this series
Hint for CF newbies: Make threads telling other CF members to STFU, it'll earn you mad props. That being said, totally agree.
You guys need to relax about telling people what they should or shouldnt think about. Its a fansite...with Sportsfans who will let their minds go everywhere and anywhere. If some of us want to look ahead to the Lakers and think about matchups or note how we are currently playing and how it would match up against them, thats our right. Lots of you guys love to make rules around here about what's 'appropriate' to discuss. Forum nazis. Clutch RUNS the place and he doesn't do that. Its SPORTS. Its fun. Every comment wont be something you dig. Cause it's SPORTS.
It ain't over til it's over. Then we're coming back home playing 'em,I would like to have a belief that we probably are able to close this series out with great efforts and hearts we play out the past 2 home games. I don't think the refs are gon blow whistle on us like they did tonight, especially in the 4th qtr. Then,we still have chance to beat em down!
I didn't expect a win tonight since the Blazers are a great home team, but so are we. I'm feeling confident about game 6. A little uneasy, but confident.
the logical thing to do now is......go read a bunch of crap from Blazermania and repost it here....people get a sense of relief when they log on to a Houston Rockets fan page and read 5 threads of what Blazer fan is talking about.
