That took forever. I think I would have been ready to come out the stands and tackle that guy myself. Took the police way too long to even come out, and then they just stood around and basically waited for the guy to decide to quit. I'm glad I've never been to a game where some idiot runs onto the field.

 

They should have forced him to surrender earlier. Fans do not belong on the field. As harmless as they might seem, why wait if they make the first move? Do you wait until the offender pulls out a knife to apprehend him a la Monica Seles?

Take the kid down as soon as he steps on the field with whatever undeadly force you can.

 

waiting until he gives up is a bit ridiculous but so is the pretend outrage people show when one of these punks gets tackled too hard or tasered.

Old guy should have popped that kid with the taser.

Why the heck did that one security guard push that kid back onto the field? The whole incident was over after he jumped back into the stands. They could have arrested him there and not on the playing field.

 

I think it was handled just fine. The kid was obviously harmless.

It's smart to wait until he gets tired from running then catch him. I'm sure he realized he couldn't keep running so he surrendered.

No need to be violent. The system knows how to handle these guys.

 

the guy didnt push him. Just blocked the stairs. The kid, on his own will, ran back onto the field.

 

Someone shoulda tackled him and the rest of the officers coulda piled on. NFL Style.

 

The system obviously does not know how to handle these guys. That's why they're doing it.
