I think the Bulls have the choice this year to switch 1st round picks with NY if they like. We would be better off getting the 1st round of the following year.

I think Dolan put a moratorium on any personnel moves by Isiah.

Isiah is stupid, but this isn't the kind of deal he likes. He likes to trade for really good athletes with massive contracts and equally massive egos. He doesn't take on guys like Juwan Howard, they aren't shiny and new. Also, Juwan Howard makes at least five million less a year than Isiah likes to pay his players.

Crawford's salary in 06-07 is $7,200,000/$7,920,000 in 07-08, and his contract will expire until 10-11 with $10,080,000. Is it worthy?

Trade for their draft picks, not players. Last time I checked everyone on the Knicks team has a massive contract which lasts until the next century.

    Sorry,it's too late.

    Chicago already has it.

It could turn out to be Greg Oden or Joakim Noah.

    Exactly.

Even the Knicks don't want to pay out the kind of bills that Isiah Smile-Bright has racked up (luxury tax hell).

Unless the deals are no-brainers (KG for whomever), you won't see as much wheeling-and-dealing from Isiah.

You want to trade with IT? OK, JuHo is tight with Curry and thus should help to get the Knicks' investment to pay off. The rights to the Israeli 2nd rounder should help with NY press/fan relations.

Q + Lee? for JuHo and 2nd rights?

    Crawford and Lee?

It fails under the CBA. But more than that, Isiah Thomas doesn't believe in trades that lower payroll.

Hey, why not a package of overpaid scrubs to get Stevie back while we're at it? Mike James who?

As long as JVG is coach of the Rockets, we need not worry about draft picks. In his eyes, they are just trade bait.

We have trade exceptions that could be used to get one of their numerous shooting guards. Van Gundy would do a trade w/ the knicks, b/c he in fact would be receiving a player that is an ex-knick and we all know he loves those guys.
