I might not like Kevin Martin, but nah I wouldn't pull this trigger.

I would have agreed yesterday. Watching Marcin Gortat destroy the Hornets for 25 and 10 and 2 blocks, in 23 minutes, has made me wonder.

He has been on a tear, and he doesn't even get enough minutes.

I'm guessing you haven't watched much Gortat in the last couple weeks.

I would put forth that he might be far more valueable than Martin, in our system.

Yep, the deal probably had Gortat and Ryan Anderson involved. Gortat's play is speaking for itself while Ryan Anderson could become one heck of a player.

No, but I would have done Scola for Gortat for sure. Scola and Martin are about equal talent-wise, but I'd have trust in Hayes or Patterson taking over for Scola. Lee in for Martin...not so much.

I don't think Phoenix would ever give Gortat up now, but they do need a power forward more than they need a center. If they were willing to do Gortat and a bad contract for Scola and Jeffries, I'd definitely bite.

This is the first time in Gortat's NBA career he has scored over 20 points.

I have nothing else to say about how stupid this assumption that he is worth Kevin Martin is.

This "offer" is completely worthless to the Rockets.

You know he was backing up the best Center in basketball for his entire career to this point, right?

And your input is completely worthless, because you have not substantiated it with any reasonable backing. Makes me wonder why you would bother to even post.

You say you would, but you wouldn't. Don't let a bad stretch of games cloud your judgement. Gortat has had a handful of good games since he has been in the league. Can't count how many Martin has had.
