I don't how seriuous of a deal we really had on the deal for Marcus Camby, but it was mentioned that LA's asking price was Trevor Ariza and Kyle Lowry. Granted, Camby has been known to have injuries, but it would have made us an immediate contender... Pg-Brooks/Rodriguez Sg-Martin/Taylor Sf-Battier/Budinger Pf-Scola/Armstrong/Thomas C-Camby/Hayes/Anderson Then when Yao is back you have a big time enforcer next to Yao (Otis Thorpe part Deux) and Scola as 6th man. Do you guys think it even woud have been possible to get both of them?
Ditto, Camby is at the tail end of his run, why give up two young guys who still have a lot of possible upside
Isn't he 35? I'm glad they passed it up. If an injury were to occur to Camby,we would be screwed. We need to be getting Younger, not older at that position.
That would have been the pinnacle of foolish, short-sighted trades. Two 24 year olds brimming with potential versus a 35 year old center? There would be a flash mob outside Morey's house waving pitchforks and torches.
Hey REEKO, that troll on the Kevin Martin thread is an *******! He's still talking bad about you! I wanna report him to Clutch and him banned!
Yep. That's the kind of deal to put a mature team over the top, not one that an emerging franchise like the Rockets would make.
