Im sad as heck.I will load up on prozac until we get a sf or c.

We need to trade cat.Plain and simple.

    I know no one agrees,because he likes houston/took a pay cut/likes steve/good season.

But Im not as loving as you guys.I am the anti love dude.I only love hakeem since he took the team on his shoulders like a god twice.

Steve will never do this, nor cat ,maybe eddie in 5 years.

Im for keeping eddie and steve,(unless lakers offer kobe for steve)(or woods).

Cat is the same player as steve. He plays no defense, short, peneetrates. We dont need two identical players,we need versatility.

Odom is versitility to the max.

You need three, odom, need penetrate, odom, need 10 boards to make up for bad center, odom, need a assist, odom, need knowledge, odom, need someone with heart, odom, need someone willing to take a pay cut to play with taylor, odom, need steals, odom, need hieght, odom, need a guy to play defense on a sg or sf,odom, need a point guard when steves on bench,odom,...I think you get my point.

Now,odom or woods.Thats it.My life is to busy to watch a bunch of role players,(are you reading this rudy?)I want to see wins, but no the throw in post barkly game,I want entertainment(are you reading this rudy).I want a fast break atleast ONCE a game.I want to have a hand in face, not a three midgets trying to guard a 6'9 mc grady.

    totally agree.

Get rid of cat. Bring someone in who may score less, but can actually pass the ball and play d.

Yes, we need a three, that's the ONE thing I agree with.

Mobley is a better pentrator than Odom.

Odom does NOT get 10 boards a game.

Yes, Odom gets some assists. He also has had one of the worst assist/TO ratio in the league all three seasons of his career.

I'd really be surprised how much knowledge Odom has. In fact, I would almost go as far to say the guy is downright stupid being caught TWICE puffing the magic dragon.

I don't know where you get the proof that Odom has heart. That's about the most backwards statement I've ever heard. Players who have heart don't hurt their team by getting suspended for five games...twice. They put the team before themselves.

How do you know he's willing to take a paycut? I'll answer: you don't. And if he does take a paycut I seriously doubt it will be voluntary. It will be because nobody wants to risk big bucks on a pothead.

Odom is NOT that great of a defender. He's good, let's just leave it at that.

No, I don't get your point at all, seeing as most of the stuff you mentioned has no proof to back it up, or in several cases is just flat out false.

And I'm not in the business of trading a player after he had the best season of anyone else on the team. That's how the bulls operate...hopefully not the Rockets.

Now THAT is a nice post.

Odom is good, but he's not going to make this team much better. Mobley has a gift that you just don't give away. He is a real prize that I think alot of people overlook. IMO he is better than Francis simply because of his speed off the dribble. I do agree that his defense sucks. Hopefully he can work on that or we can aquire a 5 that can pick up the slack.

I wouldn't trade Cat unless a real good deal came along, but Odom would make this a whole lot better. This team needs to revolve around the team concept, not just 1 or 2 players. Run a real offense ,deliver the ball and play.

i honestly don't believe that steve and cat can co-exist in a way that makes the Rockets a champion. One needs to set up the other...they don't do that very well.

I don't think it's a great thing that both are scorers. I'd rather see scoring spread more evenly among front and back court...and i'd MUCH rather have the bulk of the scoring coming from the frontcourt, rather than the backcourt.
