Well, given that we can't trade them straight up, depends. Now if we had the option to do so, I would not for Amare (whom I've never liked, am concerned about injuries particularly since Phoenix wanted to waive the physicals, and I doubt he would want to stay here and I would bet would ruin chemistry) and would do it in 2 seconds for Bosh.

I would if you trade the right amount of assets for him, specially for Bosh who doesn't have a history of serious injuries. Bosh is just an elite player who would be great Yao insurance.

Bosh and Yao would be a killer duo. The advantage to having Scola is you don't have to gut your team just to get Bosh. I would prefer to trade for Bosh but I have no problems going to war next season with Scola as our starting PF next season.

Probably a yes for Bosh (and even then, I would not give up our other pieces), and heck no for Amare.

Hell, no trade for Amare at all.

    No, never.

Bosh or Amare are NOT the answer for the rox. The Rockets need a clutch closer who can score in the droughts, take over a fourth quarter, and make a game winning shot.

They are not what we need, and they are not high enough level superstars.

Amare is a primadonna who cares more about himself than the team.

With Bosh coming out and saying he wants to be the franchise player does not sit well with me either....

Are y'all out of your minds?

I'd trade Scola for Bosh or Amare in .00000000000000000000000001 seconds. Have y'all seen Amare's numbers post allstar break? The guy has been a monster, and Bosh has been Bosh....

Lol @ even hesitating when talking about trading a borderline all-star for superstar players.

If the salaries matched I'd do it in no hesitation. WTF @ the homers in this thread.

Yes to Bosh, packed with Hills/Picks

No to A'mare, unless they want straight up Jeffries + Scola

Scola will cost half as much and he fits better within Adelman's offense. His Per 36 Minutes stats are also closer than you're thinking. He's averaging 17.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per 36 minutes and that has been going up more and more with the addition of Martin (spaces the floor for him) and more minutes to heat up.

Bosh yes, Amare no. We can't have two injury prone front court players.

no.. our gains wouldn't be dramatically greater in comparison to our loss.. as you wouldn't be able to trade Scola alone..

If I could get Bosh for Scola and someone like Jeffries or even Battier, I would do it. In other words, I wouldn't give up very much past Scola for Bosh. Scola is good enough to where we don't have to have a "Bosh or bust" mentality. If the price for CB4 is too high, then let it go.
