Should Rockets fans feel insulted that Brown chose Darko over Yao?

Should Rockets fans feel insulted that Silas chose LeBron over Steve+Yao?

Should Rockets fans feel insulted if JVG waits around till he can land Kobe and Shaq?

Does Yao not winning the ROY award hurt his credibility around the league? Is this why the "most desirable coaching job" is not so desireable after all? Or was it only the "most desireable" before the detroit, philly, and possibly portland jobs came open?

Just some questions I had, please share your thoughts.

    Insulted? Nah.

Brown is smart, staying in the east is the easiest route to the finals so I don't think Brown choose Yao over Darko.

The Rox only interviewed Silas once and I don't think the Rox were serious about Silas (unfortunatelty) so I'm not insulted by Silas' ddecesion.

JVG is still an option but hell, who wouldn't choose Kobe and Shaq over ANY duo in the NBA.

No way in hell has Yao's credibility been tarnished. I think that if Yao and Darko were in this draft and LJ was the #1 pick, Brown would draft Yao over Darko.

Detroit and Philly are more desirable jobs than the Rox for 2 reasons: 1. Eastern Conference 2. Both teams are coming off playoff appearances in the Eastern Conference.

I would be worried abut the situation we are in but not insulted.

    No.

    No.

    No.

    No.

Come on, SACK UP!!! Larry Brown is not God. Silas is not John Wooden. JVG has a bad comb-over. Yao has probably already forgotten about ROY, if he or (anyone else in the league) cared that much about it in the first place.

NEWSFLASH: The Houston Rockets are NOT folding. This "insult" will probably be forgotten in another week or two.

I didn't know Brown goes to Detroit simply because he chose Darko over Yao. I also didnt know Silas decided to take the Cleveland job simply because he chose Lebron over Steve+Yao. I thought money, power and other attributes weighted at least 75% in their decision making process. Thanks to have enlightened me. :D

    Why?
Silas wasn't offered the job. How could that be considered an insult?

Seriously, this coaching stuff is getting tiring. We should really be seeing a ramping up of some serious "this is my Rockets jersey" designs, especially since we now know (99.99%) the color scheme, and a possible look for the logo.

    BTW: solid username.

it would be great if, after a few years of different coaching, rudy is perfectly healthy and retakes the head coach position and we win a couple titles. maybe a bit cinematic but i like it that way

Nope. i aint got ill-feelings towards everything. i mean, not hiring LB can be good for us, that means, we can have younger, goob coach who doesnt have "Long-Term" problem. i feel even greater this season knowing that LB wont coach us. i mean sure, i really wanted to land LB here, but sh*t, he taking money over us is really below the belt. i dont want those coaches who coach coz of money. i mean, yeah, he does have a family to support to, and i respect that, but coaching need passion from within. and money wont give you that.. LB is fading.. so, i see great things this coming season! let's not feel insulted, rather be glad for the "hidden" blessings GOD has given us. plus,
