If the team can't respond positively tonight by winning strongly do you think it's time for a big move?

Wait until we're 0-10, then maybe.

    A move?

    LOL - seriously?

Like there is another team out there just DYING to help the Rockets.

This is our team, there is no magic bullet out there.....no move to be made....

Right, only the Rockets are struggling now. All other teams are perfect.

If there is a trade the other team will trying to exact a very high price from the Rockets because of our record.

I'm sure that Less will have to approve the trade before he pries open his checkbook. Will he? I bet he and Morey or thinking about the new CBA coming up and or very reluctant to take on a very bad long term contract on a very bad player to get the good player we need.

Teams that make a move out of desperation remain in desperation.

I think what he means is that there isn't the players available that would REALLY help the Rox right now. Baron Davis is probably the only one you could get that might help but honestly that contract is just disgusting and his play or health isn't great. Iggy might be but the Sixers will try to destroy Morey in negotiations understanding his desperation. The guy I could see being moved sooner rather than later is Nash but even that is too soon. So the question really becomes, which teams are ready to make a change right now and do we really want anything from them.

I hate it when DaDakota is the voice of reason, but he definitely is the voice of reason in this thread. Nothing good can come of panicking and making a move in desperation.

no, but the rockets can help another team... and in return plan for the future.

we are not a contending team this year and our young guys need playing time to develop. i wouldn't mind seeing the team trade some vets for assets that will help in the future.

it's too early to start pulling the trigger on possible trades

DD-Teams that remain or are in desperation, make a move out of desperation. :)

I pretty much agree with what you have said that I think we will find our way, and I still believe we will make the playoffs.

But if we drop 6 or 7 of the next 10 we will have to start acknowledging that this doesn't work.

I think that we should stay the course. If we get a high draft pick out of this, then maybe that's just what we needed. DaDakota is absolutely right.

if we cant beat the timberwolves at home, then this team just plain sucks and is nowhere near as good as we thought they were. i guess right now there are a few excuses we can make, but there is no excuse for a home loss to the t-wolves.

Unless we really suck or they are a very hungry puppy intent on making us the only winless team.

What quick move would be available? The only one I see is blowing up the team, but I dunno who would be willing to pay a lot for what we have.
