I think JVG is not going to retire if the Jazz win the champ. In that case, we are only one rebound away from the Champ. So if he retires now, he will regret, Rox will regret, and Fans here will go crazy.... :D

I do not care of what he does after he gets kicked out

I just don't want him to continue to dismantle our team

I dont see how Jazz is related with JVG. It is not about one game, about one season. It is about his coaching style, the future of the team, the product and his boss's feeling.

JVG is a great coach with some bad luck and bad looking.

the unlucky and ugly has to go for this franchise to thrive.

LMAO, Thats a hell of a statement! I think whichever team beat the Jazz during regular could claim they are an inch away from the trophy then...if Jazz wins the title.

I remember there was a poll before the series about whether JVD is the coach who can bring the Rox a champ. Many fans on this board said No due to various reasons. Those reasons appear to be the keys killed us in the first round.e.g, not flexible, not being able to react to the situation on floor, cant handle&unite the team and players well, don't know how to use players at diff times, etc...

I cant recall exactly who said what, nor can i find the link to that thread since this board was flooded after the loss.

Retire, who is talking about retire. Win a championship and retire. Make it a few times to the Finals and let's talk about retiring. Never make it out of the first round with Yao and Tmac on your team and it's fire time, Baby! Fire the S.O.B. and be done with it.

gotta tell you after a few days of thinking about, we really need a coach that will help develop a bench. i mean sure the rookies we have, JL3, Novak, and V-span aren't superstars but they can very well contribute to the team. with JVG's coaching ways he only allows players on the floor with the best chance to win, the exception of course being luther head. just really wish we had a coach that would find ways to execute more offensive plays rather than just play defensive all the time... wait what am i saying we didnt play defense at all during the play offs :(

Beyond moot. JVG knows that he had an incomplete team going into the playoffs, even if somehow we beat Utah, we still would have had trouble against the Red Baron.

I, like the most fans here, was extremely upset with the LOSS. I think we could handle the Warriors if we won the Game 7. We have a good chance against the Spurs. We just beat the Piston not long ago.... Just depressing. I don't like JVG for a long time, I know we have 2 soft superstars, then what? If there are Phil Jackson like coaches available, I do not need waste time on this Poll. Rick Aldeman? No, he is not a championship coach. Larry brown? Unless you can forget the mess he created in the knicks. Finding a new coaching is another gamble.
I would assume JVG learned, listened, and is willing to change after this heartbroken loss. One more year may be a smarter decision for our Rox and Fans. After all, we are so close to beat the Jazz. :(
Please not to be too emotional.
