Should Jordan start or come off the bench? I think he should start because it will give the team a good lift and it will let some young legs come off the bench and give the team a spark. So the starters are: C- Jahidi White PF- Christian Laettner SF- Michael Jordan SG- Jerry Stackhouse PG- Chris Whitney So off the bench, there's Stackhouse, Larry Hughes, Juan Dixon and Jarrod Jeffries off the bench. That's a pretty good group.
I think he would be better coming off the bench backing up Stackhouse. I think he wants to start because he feels it might affect his ego since he has always been a starter. I think it would help the team overall and give them a boost whenever the team is down during the game...
I just can't see Jordan off the bench. Stranger things have happened, but he'll probably start at the 3, for better or for worse. If he can manage to play no more than 26-28 mpg, that's the real question to me. They need to keep him from wearing down and that might be the only way.
I think Jordan is still the best player on that team. He should start and play about 30 min. a game if he can. I think the starters should be: J. White Laettner Stackhouse Jordan Hughes
The guy's the biggest draw ever in the history of anything(okay, maybe next to the Beatles). He'll start regardless of impact.
He should start off the bench. In fact I don't think he should have made a comeback last year even though he is still productive.
michecon is right. First off Mike will do what HE wants, and it sounds like he wants to start. Secondly, Michael Jordan should never come off the bench. Can you imagine Bryon Russell telling his grandkids "Yea, Jordan backed me up"? Mike go on with your bad self, do whatever you please basketball owes you........
