In the past hundred years the Germans have started not one, but two world wars. We've had our thumb on them since the end of WWII, but with the reunification of East and West Germany god only knows what they're up to over there. Has anyone taken a hard look at the German military infrastructure in the last 20 years? Are we prepared for WWIII with nuclear armed German fanatics?
Even though we all know you're trying to be funny here and take a jab at ATW, plenty of people really can't tell the difference between, say, nationality and religion, and how we judge them in the eyes of history. The cause and effect, if you will. There's no tangible/quantifiable factor or quality about a nationality (one could even argue ethnicity) that makes them more predisposed to war/hostility/atrocity, as opposed to something like a religious sect (which have very open and obvious motivations). Joke or not, this senseless behavior is a real problem and does deserve serious attention. /wetblanket

Peak oil is and will be the cause of 'WWIII'. The groundwork has been laid for quite some time. I seriously doubt the Germans are behind it. It's kind of the Big Elephant in the room that no one (mainstream media) will talk about. The war is happening now by proxy and diplomacy. The Saudi's keep their reserve count state secret. We're being told oil is becomming scarce or harder to harvest. Even if we go green in America-totally switch to an alternate fuel for vehicles, electricity, etc. We depend on plastics and other byproducts so much that oil is so much a necessity to our almost every aspect of our lives. WWIII is the war for oil. Be it thru capitalism, territorial, military, cyber...whatever. It's on and been on for over a decade when at some point they figured out that the earth didn't have a sustainable amount of oil. Remember the Big Oil mtg's that Cheney/Bush admin had? They are still classified. I hope to hell they put together a hell of a gameplan!! Maybe globalization is a part of their gameplan. It's looking like it and from my perspective I really don't have a country that is protecting me. A bunch of already rich pricks are making sure they get theirs and doing so at my expense. That was the mistake we made with Islam extremism: waiting until they starting blowing things up. I agree with Cheetah - it seems to make more sense to proactively deal with Germany BEFORE they start blowing things up.
