I say yes, only for married couples of course. I see this as reducing the amount of idiots marrying at insanely young ages, making marriages last longer due to people fearing the law if they cheat.

Also, what punishment do you think cheating on a spouse deserves. I'd like it to be in the same view as a DWI. Where it really screws your life up if you have cheating on your record, ex: employers wont hire you. Significant fine and community service, I don't think jail time is warranted.

If you don't think it should be a crime, please state reasoning.

Also, would like to add increased fine and punishment if you have kids, maybe even number of kids also increases fine.

Hell no. I'm not interested in asking the government to get more involved in my personal life than it already is. How would the court systems handle this? You would have literally millions of cases each year.

Are you serious with this? How old are you?

i think there's as much of an argument here as making monogamous marriage illegal.

    Absolutely it should be criminalized.

That would stop it for sure!

Fines or jail time. I'm good with either one. There aren't enough financial penalties for infidelity. Besides, that money should be going to the state. And put the parents in jail and away from those poor kids.

This is crazy talk. It is not a crime. People need to handle their own business.

It's not crazy. Marriages need more state enforced regulation once they are decreed. Society as a whole is suffering. It takes a village.

I dont think the courts would be able to handle the influx of cases...that would just be chaos and a total waste of money.

I wonder how many people would still get married if divorce were illegal.

    Punishable by death.

Although that might constitute double jeopardy.

Sounds like something a statist-loving SOCIALIST would say to me.

    NO MORE BIG GOVERNMENT.
