    this is a serious question:

CBUD only came back yesterday and todai he did a very good job and Ariza on the otherhand screw up as he usually do....

if we start Chase instead of Ariza! should we trade Ariza of Iggy? or that only works for tmac!!

    Chase Bud... good job tonite

LOCK if u see enough of Ariza posts

    YES.

Battier & Ariza should NEVER be on the floor at the same time.

In all fairness, just what did Chase do better than Ariza? They both shot pretty bad, Budinger shot worse from beyond the arc, and Ariza played better defense like normal. Yeah, Ariza had the WTF ARE YOU THINKING 3 but the Rockets demand a lot more out of him and Chase didn't have a great game either.
Chase definitely isn't deserving of a starting role. He's a still a good spark off the bench like Landry, and he needs more time, partly to get back on the court and just due to being a rookie. That's all for now.

i'd like to see what budinger would do with a a green light for 35 mins, not sure what to expect because as a rookie he may be 10 of 14 one game and 3 of 14 the next...but i'd still like to see. Also would help show if he'll really get exposed on D when he's in that long or not.

If that were to happen ariza would probaly ask for a trade, he made it perfectly clear why he picked us over cavs and other contenders, for the oppurtunity to improve his game.

It's worth a shot. Replacing him or Battier in the starting lineup for a game or two really couldn't hurt us at this point. Our wing play is really THAT bad.

Starters roles are not promised to anybody it's based on performance -see T-mac example. I like Trevor and I like him on my team but if C Bud helps us win a few more games sit Trevor or Shane. Same goes for Chuck if we start Landry over him.

i actually agree, dod seem like morey promised him a feature role and that was the deciding factor for Ariza..i cant really understand where this attitude is coming from though, he seemed like quiet and humble guy.

There is no way Morey is going to let Ariza go to the bench thereby making it seem that Morey made a mistake in signing Ariza.

You have to be naive to think that Morey doesn't take pride in being a "mastermind" with numbers.

Morey is happy with the way things are going - he looks good. And he's not about to bail on Ariza and admit a mistake - he's going to give Ariza the whole season and perhaps longer. Morey's signed the guy, he's on the hook if it doesn't work out.

No way he panics and bails early.

You heard Morey earlier - "we want Ariza to shoot them shots" or whatever.

    Get use to it.

If Budinger starts over Ariza, Ariza is gonna throw a Tmac-like Prima Donna hissyfit.

Adelman and DM both know this, thus they won't do it.

I wouldnt mind seeing Bud come off the bench at the first timeout like T-Mac did for his 6 games. Either Battier or Ariza comes out, depending on situations. Aaron was winded tonight and would be nice to have more Budinger to take up the slack. Chase mentioned to Bill or Bull that he was pretty winded after the game last night, so he may need to get his stamina back over a couple of games to get it right.

Whatever happens, its apparent that Battriza is a big part of the Rockets 1st and 3rd quarter issues. Can't fault either one, but its usually one or the other.
