help me. What do I get my niece? She's 7, and usually likes stuff that is popular on TV. So what is that this year.

I totally whiffed on this kid last year. Would be nice to get it right for once.

    Bingo!

I've got a goddaughter and 2 little cousins who are all between the ages of 7-10. They ALL love Hannah Montana. High School Musical stuff seems to be a hit as well in that age group. It goes like this:

ages 1-5: Nickolodeon stuff (Dora the Explorer/Diego)
ages 6-10: Disney stuff (Hannah Montana, High School Musical)

    yeah

That alone created a whole new age group for High School Musical haha.

What's interesting, though, is that one of my 8 year old cousins knows about the picture, and she HATES high school musical now. She used to worship that movie. I guess public image reallly does matter

"Hey kids of america, its hand painted wooden ball-in-a-cup, Mexico's favorite toy for over 340 years. Who needs constant video game stimulation when theres ball-in-a-cup? You just toss the ball, catch it in the cup, dump it out of the cup, toss it, and catch it in the cup again. The ball is on a string and attached to the cup, so theres no worry if you dont catch the ball in the cup. And clean up is as easy as catching a ball, in a cup. So why spend another day not catching a ball in a cup when you can be catching a ball-in-a-cup?"
