Shootout in Southwest Houston Near Rice Village?

    Wondering if anyone else heard gunshots for last 5 minutes (between 9:55 and 10PM). Just stopped about 10PM.

    Rice Village area (Bissonett + Ashby) ... Hopefully it was some faulty equipment, fireworks or something else... but man that sounded like some bullets.

    Do not hear any police sirens yet as of 10:05PM.
    I hear few helicopters now at 10:07PM...

    After deliberating their should be more cops on the scene if it was bad news. We will see.

    Then we definitely need more cops there. As a conservative that believes in law and order, I believe that criminals like T_J need to be dealt with by the authorities.

    I work for Callaway golf part time. We have an 8' trialer full of golf clubs that we pull to Demo Days. Yesterday I was unloading and I notice the plywood in the inside was splintered, then I noticed that a couple of the clubs were broken, like the thick metal hosel was dented nearly flat. So I walked back over the the trailer and there were 11 bullet holes spaced around inside the round Ben Hogan logo. A Sealy police officer that stopped by said they were big holes, like a 44 or 45 and 11 holes was a whole clip.

    The trailer sits inside a fence at a Public Storage lot next a public street.
    There are houses about 3 blocks away and someone unloaded a full clip from a 45 into it? Wouldn't that have caused a SWAT action?

    We had about 5 shot up golf clubs and one bag with bullet holes, There was some shattered lead around but I didn't gather 11 rounds worth.

    A very dangerous area of Houston second only to Circle C in violent crime activity in Texas -- the Shakespeare Street Posse is a notoriously violent gang of thugs and drug dealers that have taken over the Rice Village area.

    I didn't know that the sound of gunshots could travel from Sharpstown, accross Bellaire and into the Rice Village.
