Shipping rates from China, IS THIS RIGHT??

    Im trying to buy a a $40 item from China. However,the guy said shipping is $320. The package weighs alot,about 44 pounds = 20 kg. I checked on the ups website,and sure enough he is right.

    Man,I was so wanting to have this item,but the shipping Price blew me away. Does anyone know of a cheaper way of shipping?

    I once shipped a destop computer without the moniter from Houston to Hong Kong. It cost me over 100 dollars and took over a month to arrive.
