I am so glad that the Cowboys took DeMarcus Ware over this guy. I feel like Ware is one of those stand up guys and will continue to work hard to become an improved overall player. It will be interesting how ESPN now thinks about this guy.
As a Chargers season ticket holder, this sucks. They really need him, but he is nevertheless a big cheater. Can't say it is a surprise though. He's not the first and definitely wont be the last big name to fall from this.
ditto. I knew that the boys went for Ware over him for character and possibly the contract he was looking for, but nonetheless can't say I wasn't tracking their progress and wondering "what if".
Every time I watched him play I became more and more impressed with the intensity he played with. It seemed like he was everywhere on the field. I remember their first game of the season when they played Oakland thinking that he was going to end up being one of the great players to ever play the game when his career was over. This is very sad news.
