I'm REALLY becoming a fan of THIS GUY! Last nights #s against the Lakers: 32pts, 18rebs (5 offensive!! ), 4 assists, and 1 block. DAMN!! And he's been posting similar #s, especially on the boards, all year. What a unique player!! I can't think of anyone he's similar to, being such a dominant rebounding SF (though I think Dr. J posted similar #s, but Marion's no Dr. J....yet ). And the only other player 'on the horizon' that could be similar to Marion is probably D. Miles. Richard Jefferson isn't a bad candidate, either.
He's actually the type of player I think Eddie Griffin can develope into, only not as dominant on the boards but with a better outside shot.
True, but the reason I mentioned Miles and Jefferson is their ability to handle the ball and slash. Plus, I think of Eddie as a PF more than a SF.
Eddie, while a good athlete, will never move like Marion They don't call him the Matrix for nothing, he's a freak.
