Hey guys, I recently watched the movie Shaun of the Dead, and I will be honest with you, this movie was absolutely amazing in every aspect of the word. This movie had some great jokes, lines, and on top of that some really dramatic scenes, which showed off young actor Simon Pegg as a possible up and coming actor. I don't believe that this movie did very well here in the states in the theaters, because alot of Americans do not appreciate British humor, but truly drop what you are doing and go rent this. Better yet, buy it, it is worth the purchase!! Laters
I agree, it is an amazingly funny movie. I saw it with a buddy on a business trip and thought it would suck, I laughed out loud the entire film. Buy the DVD, it is worth owning this movie. DD
I actually watched it on new years eve at a friends, I thought it was alright. Dont know I had heard it was pretty funny from some friends and for the most part I enjoy the movies my friends enjoy because we have the same tastes. I dont know didnt really laugh at all during this movie though, but it was alright, not bad at any means.
How much would you pay some one to rent it for ya? It's available through torrents. I saw it, and got my dad to watch it during Christmas. He liked it a lot. Funny Funny movie.
I saw this movie last week. While not the most exciting or hilarious film, I found it quite entertaining. I guess in order to keep that Brit humor moving along, they had to make the actors do completely r****ded and stupid things along the way. It was definitely worth watching. I loved all the characters and felt the casting was excellent. The DVD extras are pretty cool as well. They have a segment where they show the story-boarded scenes which was basically the movie. I don't think they even had a script at that point. They talked through the whole movie while flipping through the story boards. Great ideas they had there. Also, they showed the auditions which were good. They even had comic strip adaptations to show what happened to some of the characters which the film didn't answer leaving you to guess what happened. I give the film a B+ .
