Finally got around to seeing some of this. Primarily the Final Episode. I was very good thing Shaq did. . the one kid that lost 77 LBS . . . I would not have recognized him . . INCREDIBLE I bring this up Because 1. Alot of folx b*tch about Shaq this and that . . but you gotta give the man some credit on this one 2. In the era of the Vicks etc. . . good to see an Athlete doing good. I am a big fan of Shaq's because of things like this he could sit on his *ss and give 20K to some childhood obesity charity but he made this public and he did a good job of it. Rocket River I hope he is back next year to do another challenge
yeah, I never understood the b****ing either, if he makes money from it so be it, child obesity is a major problem in this country, his involvement can only help.
Yeah my wife and I became addicted to the show. It was great seeing the Hispanic kid lose all of that weight. I really wanted to karate chop the black kid in the neck. He seems like such a lying punk. Especially with the, "The ball must have slipped form my hand." That he play the slow mo and he totally busted that poor girl in the face. Th red headed kid is going to always be fat. he is just lazy and dont want to change. I really felt for the awkward kid with glasses. Man he must have put up with so much his entire life. You can tell the teasing had effected him. I am glad he lost a lot of weight and now has friends and is not to shy. What makes you mad are the parents. Like the Hispanic parents who wanted to pull their daughter out. Why? Do you want her to die. Anyhow, if you have not seen it is on the web for free. You have to applaud Shaq Daddy for doing this for the kids.
I've seen Shaq do some great things, and I've seen Shaq do some dumb things. Overall, I think Shaq is a kind-hearted person who sometimes does or says something that is stupid or offensive.
reminds me...a couple of weeks ago i say this 8 year old girl and she must have been easily 150+. she was freaking hugely obese. I was shockd that a kid could be that fat. Anyways, she was emptying her lunch tray and as i was walking by i noticed 2 chocolate milks! AND a chocolate cake container! are you kidding me?!
