    None of the above. Shaq has a very sore toe, and to think he was out for another reason is just ridiculous.

    Doctor said he was ok to play;
    coach said he was ok to play;
    everybody else said he is ok;
    then he decided to sit.

    Shaq does not want to play unless he is close to 100%. Imagine all the publicity that Yao would get if he out plays Shaq with his injured big toe. Plus there is no need to risk further damaging his toe anymore since the Lakers are almost play-off bound for sure.

    Yes, Shaq is extremely afraid of Ming. He is so afraid of Ming that he decides to rely on Kobe to kick our a$$. Shaq, what a shame!!

    In addition to Ming, Shaq is also very afraid of Kurt Thomas of Knicks and Greg Ostertag of Jazz. He is also very afraid of Dale Davis of Trail Blazers whom he'll try to avoid by sitting next game. The list can get longer if he still decides to sit.

    Well, Yao is the least proven of all the listed above, but he also has the most upside considering his age and room for improvement.

    FYI, I picked Duncan, but Yao may prove me wrong in a year or two.

    Shaq was out-run by Willis in that last Spurs game (only 5 rebs). So I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't want to be furthur embarrassed. Shaq might have a bigger ego than you thought (see his comments re his surgery).

    Regardless, this poll is on rockets.com. It's not like we created it. Why were you getting so serious here?

    BTW, what's up with your and Shaq's Amare "the future of the NBA" Stoudemire? :p

    To be honest, in the real world, I would also pick Duncan over Yao at this point of their careers. But let's be biased here in this type of meaningless poll. Not to mention to help decrease Kobe's %.

    That explains he is suffering because of his toes and needs to sit. Do you really believe a healthy Shaq is outplayed by Willis?

    It depends on your perspective. If you think

    is just a joke, then

    is also a joke. If you think the earlier post is serious, then the latter is also serious.

    Didn't Shaq himself really say so? It's not like I created it :p

    I think that that Mcgrady guy is pretty good;). I dunno though that whole list is great. Let's also not forget that while most of them have nothing, Ming has Francis who is arguably our best player.
