No one can compete with shaq pound for pound with his enormous size. What Vlade can do is limit him. Vlade is one of the few centers in the league that can sometimes force shaq to catch the ball further out than he wants to which hurts his game quite a bit. Also Vlade can draw shaq out on the defensive end because he can shoot the ball from the outside, but he still has a decent post game. Vlade is one of the smartest centers in basketball right now and is doing everything he can to stop shaq. I think he has done a good job so far this series
I think Vlade is one of the better and tougher matchups for Shaq, especially since his feet are all jacked right now. Divac is smart, has range, and has a variety of slick post moves (he's not bad off the dribble either).
The thing about Divac is that if he's on your side you love him because of all the little things he does to help you win and if he's on the other side, you hate him because of all the little things he does to make you lose. In the current series, I love him.
What Woofer said. Vlade is a very talented and intelligent player......it's just that he flops too damn much. Though, it does help more times than it hurts him.
