CAN YOU IMAGINE FRANICS WAIVING OFF SHAQ....DUNCAN......GARNET......and KOBE to run ISO's in the ALL STAR GAME? I hope this ALL-STAR game will broaden Steve's ability as a PG. Not only by showcasing his athletic ability, but to see how the rest of the league plays ball. He has only played NBA ball for one team (one coach), and maybe Phil Jackson can show him another type of basketball being played. A game of ball movement, reading defenses, un-selfish play and taking high precentage shots. Then if the unthinkable happens, and he can bring this back to Cuttino, KT, Moochie & RUDY - perhaps the Rockets can turn this around (or at least by next season) and once again be a fun team to watch...
Let's not hope he decides he want to go to Phil next year, LOL. I think Steve's gonna be great at the ALl Star game, playing and showcasing at the same time.
There's no way Francis will do that. Unless Rudy T is the coach. These All-Star games are a PG's dream to play in, where there are very little rules and it's just run and gun.
Well Francis probably wont even run and gun in the all star game. If its up to him, he'll slow it down.
Dude, it's not Francis' fault the Rockets offense stinks, it's Rudy's. Francis can't force his teammates to actually move without the ball. Rudy can, but he doesn't.
I've never thought of Francis as the guy to take too many shots. If anything, he's too unselfish. JMO.
I don't think Steve is going to learn anything too groundbreaking from Phil's "coaching" the All-Star game.
Good thing the West has the better players, else Phil might have refused to coach. The Lakers have the 3rd-best winning percentage in the West...Jackass might not be the coach anyway.
Francis is not selfish enough to be all-star mvp, but he can have about 10 assists, and a few nice oops and dunks
