I wonder what the reason is. I think Shaq is enjoying being the big man in the NBA. I honestly don't know if Ming is someone Shaq should be nervous about. If I were him, I'd be talkin' all kinds of trash. For being a non-Rocket, Shaq is pretty funny.

Just in case: I think we should keep all 3 PF's.

Ingoring Ming is the bigger sign of disrespect.

So if Ming's that good, Shaq is supposed to say "shut up asking me about the Kings, Jay, I'm taking over this interview and I want to talk about Yao Ming"?

Ignoring Ming is like giving him no relevance. And I agree with Shaq. At this point Yao doesn't exist in the Diesel's world.

I get it, you mean Shaq paid ultimate respect to Yao Ming when Shaq threatened throwing elbows to him?

C'mon p-bear. I understand that you like Yao and it's cool. But you have to admit that Shaq probably isn't concerned about Yao "bringin the pain" to Staples anytime soon. Why should Shaq need to answer numerous questions concerning this guy other than to try build a rivalry that doesn't exist? Yao has to prove that he can play with Tony Battie before he can even justify threatening Shaq. Being a Rocket fan I wish Ming nothing but the best but I just don't see it. And my vision is crystal.

    Shaq disrespected the WNBA!

But I've got to admit, calling the King a "good WNBA team" is funny! The "give Adalman a speeding ticket" joke was also hilarious. :D

I like how Shaq says Sacramento is " a good WNBA team," but it
took 7 games to beat them.

Dwil8686 I agree with you not some, alot of the guy's on this site are getting carried away,or going overboard with MING. Let Ming dominate one NBA center and then I think about giving him his props until then chill with this Yao going to be the greatest center talk. Guy's I'm a Rocket fan and I hope that Ming has a great 15 year's in the NBA, but let's be realistic about some things here.

    Hello all my elders.. :)

Mac, not to start my posting career on a disagreement but getting excited and thinking the world of your team and it's players is what a fan is! With the lackluster fans here in Houston having to fight for a reason to be excited about the Rockets, I hope everyone is as dileariously excited about our prospects as I am! :D
15 year season ticket holder and running...

Once again, no disrespect intended. Just hope to improve the optomism of our fellow Houston fans! Besides.. what's the fun in it if you can't blow things out of proportion! :))

    Thanx

In other Rockets news, President Bush today also did not discuss Yao Ming . . .

I didn't see the show. But, considering the response to the 'Kings are a good WNBA team' line, his delivery must have been fantastic because the joke itself is tired, overused and stupid.
