Shaq was just on ESPN saying he feels like crap and needs his rest before he could dominare again. And he'll probabley be out the next three games: Houston, Utah, and Portland.

But still don't get your hopes up, i wouldn't be surprise if Shaq comes out of nowhere and starts playing in the middle of the quarter.

I was hoping the Diesel will put some minutes against the Rox. That way the Rockets will get fired up and beat the damned Fakers, But if Shagq won't be playing , the Rockets might take them lightly and blow this game too!

Want to explain why the best center in the league is scared of Yao? He has no reason to be. Yao started off strong in their first game playing each other, but Shaq played much better than Yao did that game.

Why is he ascared of Yao?

Yao is taller and has the HUNGER that SHAQ could only DREAM of regaining.

Why would a true competitor such as SHAQ sit out a few games because of the Stomach Flu? He doesn't have Stomach Flu. He doesn't have ****, just fear.

    Fear of Ming.

First of all, Shaq doesn't have Stomach Flu. He is hurting his toe again. And he plans to sit for next three games, not including the last game against Knicks. Yeah, he is so afraid of Ming he needs to sit 4 games in a row at least to make sure Ming and Rockets can survive the 8th spot a little longer.

Btw, Shaq regards Amare much higher than he regards Ming. In Shaq's own words, he said "I see the future of NBA. His name is Amare Stoudemire."

" I see the future of NBA. His name is Amare Stoudemire"

Is SHAQ the Mighty Kreskin??? Is he Yuri G?

Does his Magic 8 Ball predict the outcome of NBA futures?

He's no more a psychic than Priscilla Barnes is a psychic.

You watch the SCORE tomorrow night and then tell me who the psychic was.

    It was ME.

It's hard to determine that Yao is better than Shaq or Shaq is afraid of Yao. Consider:

If Rockets win against Lakers without Shaq, then is Ming better than Shaq or Shaq is afraid of Yao?

If Rockets win against Lakers with Shaq, but Ming scores less than Shaq (15 pts vs 35 pts), then is Ming better than Shaq or Shaq is afraid of Yao?

    Now I am confused myself.

This is the very beginning of a slow decline in effectiveness and productivity for Shaq - based on an accumulation of maladies and joint problems.

His size, and now his lack of conditioning and increased weight, are starting to take their toll on his feet and knees.

IMHO it has nothing to do with Yao. I think they are saving him for the ultimate playoff push. Even with a rested Shaq, I don't think Lakers will be strong enough to defend against a healthy Kings team, or several others for that matter.

Well I believe he is going to play.

shaq definitely shouldn't be scared of Yao, but...

Yao has nothing to lose in the matchup and a lot to win.
Shaq has everything to lose and very little to win.
Shaq is suppose to outplay Yao and have more points, rebounds, and blocks. At best Shaq outplays Yao as expected. If Yao outplays Shaq, the media circus will be insane at the expense of Shaq.

I think Shaq will play and if he plays badly he can use his knee as an excuse and not credit Yao.

Please keep in mind this is complete speculation.
