I would think he's slow and that's why he didnt play in the nba or even attempted but it says he's got a black belt in martial arts so he can't be that slow right? Oh well I know not all big people were meant to play sports but this guy is at least athletic and not just big.

Unfortunately many martial arts aren't that picky about handing out black belts. Also if its in Karate he could've gotten it from doing Kata (forms) and not sparring. That said though if he can stand and run for 48 minutes I'm surprised that he didn't at least play college ball. There's been many big slow uncoordinated super large guys in college and pro-ball. They might never score a lot but what coach wouldn't want a big body to throw out there clog up the lane especially in zone D or who's good for 6 fouls on Shaq or Yao without getting run over.

One other thing that I was wondering about from the essay they said his dad was 7'-8" and his mom was 5'-3". Pardon me for being crude but I'm wondering about the umm.. mechanics that went into creating him. I mean can anyone imagine a Great Dane getting it on with a Chihuaha?
