I guess this is both good news and bad news if Shaq doesn't play Tuesday. We might have better shot at winning but the game won't be anywhere as exciting as we would hope. I say bring on Shaq!

Oh please. is anyone really falling for this BS.

The Lakers are playing the crappy Knicks.

Shaq is basically resting up to face Yao. He has something to prove and he's not going to risk aggravating his knee and toe.

The last thing he wants is to have Yao show him up on national TV.

Shaq will not miss the game on Tuesday, unfortunately for us. He will play regardless of his broken toes or whatever. Shaq-Yao II means too much to the future of NBA.

Umph..... I am not sure if Shaq regards Yao Ming that high that he needs to rest up to face him.

Shaq is more concerned facing Amare than Yao.

If he does play, I say we send cutters (especially Cato and Mo Taylor) across the lane to step on his big-ass toes all frickin night.

I still hope the Rockets kick L.A.'s AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASS!!

Amare has blocked Shaq how many times?

This game means a hell of a lot more to Shaq than if they were going to play the Suns. Shaq wants revenge for the 3 blocks Yao Ming put on him early in the game.

the way i see it, if shaq isn't playing, then the rockets definitely lose. the rockets only get pumped up to play good teams and with shaq playing, there will be extra adrenaline to win and beat the lakers. But without shaq, the rockets will give us a replay of what occured in the miami game when eddie jones didn't play.

if shaq a'int playing, the game a'int even worth watching. yao probably wouldn't take the game as seriously either and might actually feel sorry for the injured shaq and not play as well. ;)

Damn. I wish Shaq had played this game.

By missing this Knicks game, eh'll surely play against us, because he'll have had 3-4 days off.

I hope Yao's doing nothing but lifting weights in the morning, watching Shaq until lunch, have a protein shake for lunch, sleep till the next morning. Repeat for the 3-4 days we had off.

Steve Francis vs Derek Fisher :D

Mobley vs Kobe >> As long as Mobes keeps Kobe off Francis

Looks like the Lakers are about to lose to the Knicks, we keep the 8th spot for at least another two nights.

The worst the Rockets can do is be tied for 8 spot Tuesday. Thanx Knicks for beating Suns and Lakers. Everyone is trying to help the Rockets, but they can't help themselves.. .how depressing. :(

Well, Shaq is hurt. That's why he sat out today's game against the Knicks. I don't think he planned to rest up to face Yao.

But your observation that Shaq is more concerned about Amare than Yao is way off. The 3 most frequenlty asked questions for Shaq here in LA are: Kobe, Shaq's big toe and Yao, not necessarily in that order. ;)
