i didn't notice shaq feeling bothered by his knee after the collision. if you saw the replay, it looked almost impossible for shaq to have a hyperextended knee injury because of the way his leg was positioned. chuck planted his leg straight and hit knees with shaq which caused the obvious hyperextension. on the other hand, shaq's leg was bent.
its just because shaq doesnt want to play. he probably wasnt even hurt in the games he sat out before playing the rockets, he was just resting up hoping he could dominate yao (which didnt happen).
honestly at this point i think shaq has had it with the regular season i think he is fine with coasting through and "turning it on" for the playoffs but i dont tihnk that will happen again. the heat team is too old now outside of wade all their major contributors are on the wrong side of 30, two of them on the wrong side of 35.(payton and zo). he played hard last two seasons because he had something to prove in getting a ring without kobe so now there really isnt anything for him. he probably just is bored of the regular season thats all lame excuse though i am sure and would hope that if any of the players on the rockets pulled that they would be benched for being unprofessional. oh wait bonzi...
It was Shaq's right leg and LOL@ Shaq. He's obviously holding out as much as possible until the playoffs. His leg was in a position like he was sitting in a chair. No way could he have hyper-extended his knee. I dont remember seeing him go out of the game like Chuck did.
i don't understand shaq sometimes. he coasts through the regular season and plays twice as good in the playoffs. now he's getting older and coasting isn't enough. he needs rest. he and his team won't dare admit weakness.
I am not sure if they will have 1st or 2nd seed this year, if he rests more than 20 games. Jason Williams is coming back soon. He might jump start the Heat.
honestly, that may not be far from the truth. for him to receive the worst spanking he has ever received...at the hands of yao...was probably incomprehensible for the big fella.
