Just fyi... Rockets director of media relations Nelson Luis said Battier will be listed as questionable for Friday's game against Phoenix. So he's 50/50 to play. Just thought I'd pass that info along. Rockets column from tonight's game will be available tomorrow morning. JCF
Sweet Moses, if Battier doesn't play, that game just became harder to win than it already was. He's our best defender.
Let our stars rest. Especially Yao if we want him to be effective come playoff time. So.. rest up Shane. you deserve it the most.
We need to beat the Suns to stay in 5th and get HC advantage.....I hope Shane is just a little beat up and can go... DD
we need to keep winning to stay in 5th. let the lakers fall to 6th. suns appear to move up into the top 2-3.
Yes, now we are tied with the Spurs and Lakers...but are still in 5th....that danged 1 point game to Sacremento hurts like the Dickens DD
The Suns seem to have figured out the Spurs with the Shaq trade. It will be interesting to see if they can beat other teams in the West. Oh yeah, and Rockets are likely to lose the Suns game anyways, so I would rather rest the banged up guys on Friday. The Suns are gunning for the top, there is no chance in hell they will lose that game to a far inferior team.
Battier needs to play.........I want to beat the Suns..........and win the rest of the remaining games.........Forget who we play...we can beat anybody anygivin night................... ~ROX~
We split the games with the Spurs, but they have a better division record than us: Spurs: 10-6 Rockets: 8-8 And the Lakers are first in their division, so you can throw out the tiebreaker for that.
