    Some interesting notes from John's blog.


    Uh-oh. A certain 6-8 Rockets forward had to miss practice on Monday. No, it's Shane Battier (sore foot) Tracy McGrady is practicing, btw.

    There is another member of Rockets' drama absent, however. Rick Adelman had a personal matter to attend to. Elston Turner running practice.

    he was there joking it up with brian cook in the first half

    but i didnt see him on the bench in the second unless he switched seats to the one furtheset away from the coach

    So on the day that Tracy practices, the head coach & one of the team captains both miss practice...I hope Shane is okay & that Adelman's situation is okay...Just find it odd...Anyway, hope that Tracy makes it through practice and is activated to play soon.

    If Battier has to miss games with the foot problem, maybe that's an opportunity to get McGrady back in the rotation. It makes Adelman's job easy.

    i dont understand why adelman isnt there. This date has been up for months, and when it finally comes around he isnt here to watch.

    I bet they didn't show up on purpose. Head coach and the team captain are a no-show?! - in what could be a crucial addition to their team?! - This is clear message to Upper Management. I am a t-mac fan but he must be a certain way to piss off Battier. It does not look good. This is just me speculating..
