After watching last night's game, anybody who had any doubts about Shandon Anderson should now be comforted. I don't think many people doubt Shandon's ability, but what I don't think many people realize is how incredible he is. Seriously - probably as good a finisher as there is in the NBA, too strong and quick to be defended in the post, and very versatile defensively. And probably the most patient player I have ever seen. For him to get the ball as few times as he did last season and have the system not revolve around him at all, I think Shandon's character is awesome. I can't help but believe that Rudy realizes Shandon's dominance and will work some more plays for him.

I don't know that Rudy NEEDS to run more plays for Shandon. He's the type of player than can score and get to the line in the flow of the game. He's special, that's certain. What he did against Allen was great.

I can't wait to see him against Darius Miles on Saturday night. I'll take Shandon's defense over a would-be college freshman's offense anyday. We might actually see plays called for Shandon to take advantage of that mismatch.

I haven't see Miles play yet, but I can't imagine him having much defense at this stage of his career.

It's good to see Shandon getting the opportunity to post up a little bit. That's a strong aspect of his game he brought from Utah that was neglected last year.

With the exception of Clde "the Glide" Drexler, Shannon is the best pick up Houston has had in years....and I AM a Chuckster fan.

If he becomes more of an offensive cog to the Rockets wheel, how could anyone stop us? Shannon, Walt, Cat, Wink, Moochie, Dream...it just too much.

Thanks for pointing that out to me. My little girl's name is Shannon and I have her on the brain.

ShanDon Anderson is the man. How many "da man(s)" can we have on one team?

Rudy doesn't need to run plays for Shandon unless nothing else is working. SA is the type of player that feeds off of his teammates. He rebounds and kicks the ball out for a fast break or runs the break and is a great support man on defense. SA could easily be what, dare I say, Pippen was for the Bulls in their heyday.

Could Mobley be our MJ?? That is another topic in itself....

Only in America....do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.

I just love the mans game, and most especially his attitude. He's Rudy ball all the way.

i watched miles' first two games this week.

he is too, too, too thin to ever think about handling shandon on the blocks. shandon would obliterate it. that and his offense isn't developed far enough to take shandon. if that's the matchup they go with, expect shandon to go beserk!!!

Mobley and Francis ...are not the two best players on the team.

    As I stated last year.

COMING ON THE BREAK SHANDON IS THE BEST FINSHER ON THE TEAM!!
    BAR NONE.

He has great body control and a keen eye
for the basket. You bump him . . it is irrelevant.

He has distance [some threes please]
and is never really out of control
