It works capwise and both players are disgruntled right now.

Interesting. I think I'd rather keep Shandon, though. Wally reminds me of a poor man's Michael Dickerson.

Regardless of the reports, the Wolves are happy with Wally. He is a popular player with the fans and gives 100% every night. They also do not have to worry about resigning him for 2-3 years and they would have to resign Shandon after this season. He is also one of their best shooters.

Man, I don't freakin BELIEVE you guys!

All it takes is a crappy mormon writer typing an article like that and lots of people start thinking of Shandon as an expedable bum ready to be shipped for the likes of Szczerbiak and Posey?

    Where's the loyalty?

Some of you make me REAL sick.

i didn't say Shandon was "an expendable bum". Just that if the story is true, then it would be best to avoid further conflict. Plus, Posey and Szczerbiak are quality players.

    Avoid further conflict?

You have GOT to be kidding me!

If the article REALLY hit the spot, which i seriously doubt, both Francis and Cuttino should be told to get their act together.

If THAT is howthe Rockets are going to be, I'm afraid I will lose every measure of respect for the current team!

The report is only a slight add-on regarding what we have all been seeing lately on the court. The fact is Shandon is not one dimensional and does not wish to be, but the play over the last several games has made it out to be this case. Do you honestly think he is cool with this?

Thanos- How do you know that the writer is Mormon and why is that relevant? Are you using it as an insult and, if so, why?

grummett sure knows how to get to the heart of an issue in 25 words or less.

I await Thanos's response, and can only hope I don't let my not-always-entirely-well-considered fast typing to ever warrant a sharp sentence from grummett.

Other than your idea of Mobley being the most devastating punch off the bench in NBA history, I haven't found much to snipe at you about. [IMG]

Hi there Grummet. Actually, i don't have anything against mormons in particular, it's just that they are usually associated with tha Jazz, and i guess i got a little carried away in my hate for them... can't be blamed for hating the Jazz can I? [IMG]

A few people on this board(I forgot who) said that they saw Shanderson and Francis chatting and laughing during the Charlotte game. And they also saw Shanderson chatting and laughing with Mobley during yesterday's game.

I think that the article was exaggerating a tad bit...

I cant believe how one idiots story from the media capital of the world, Ogden Utah, could get people on this board in such a frenzy. I would never trade Shandon for Wally. There is no similarity at all in Dickerson and Sczerbiak's game. It's amazing how people's opinions on players can change from one game to the next. There is no riff between them, this idiot who saw shandon get mad once in a game, was a bitter jazz fan and overexaggerated the situation.I cant believe after 11 games a thread was posted about trading him.Unbelievable

Right, that's why he's a poor man's Michael Dickerson. He has a similar game, but isn't quite as good yet. He's also 2 years younger, mind you.

Take a look, though. It's closer than you might think:

    Sczerbiak: 12.6 ppg, 5.6 reb, 3.1 ast, 0.8 stl, 1.5 TO (50% FG, 76% FT)
    Dickerson: 15.7 ppg, 3.8 reb, 2.7 ast, 1.6 stl, 2.3 TO (42% FG, 56% FT)

Dickerson isn't all that better than Wally. Plus, Sczerbiak probably has a bit more potential, in large part because he is younger, but that is debatable.

I stick to my claim that they are similar players.
