He is making his outside shots, driving, cutting, passing well. He is doing everything! I always knew this guy could score; it was only a matter of time. And the time has come!

The only thing that i'm worried about is whether shandon can keep it up while francis is in the game. The only reason shandon is scoring so much is because he has to fill in for francis's scoring. We need to keep Shandon involved in our offense when steve comes back. Shandon doesn't have to get 25 points a game, but I think 15 points should do it. Shandon can't get all his points on the fastbreak, so we need to run a few half-court plays for him like we are doing right now.

He is not getting the points on plays that are run for him, he is hustling and hitting the wide open 3 point jumper.

He is flowing with the offense, as it seems to be very unselfish right now.

I hope Steve Franchise is watching.

Bryce is watching him cut alot closer and giving the ball up to him anyway at so he can isolate. Their is reason his explosion has come with Francis out.

thats true, but when steve francis comes in, he'll be gettin the plays from the flow of the offense. That's why we need to run plays for shandon, cause he is a lot bigger than most 2 guards so he can post them up rather easily.

    Alaska,

"cause he is a lot bigger than most 2 guards so he can post them up rather easily."

Actually he is smaller than most at 6-4. The answer for Anderson is not to feed him in the low post it is to watch him as he cuts, the way it has happened the last two games. Mobley could take notes from Anderson on how to move without the ball. It is in my opinion what Anderson does best.

Shandon is bigger than most 2-guards. Calvin Murphy and Bill Worrel have commented on it. I believe the quote was something like this: "Shandon is bigger than most 2-guards, so he can use his size and his jumping abilities to jump right over them and score."

But Shandon should still cut and do all this other stuff.

Your right he is 6-6. I eat my words. But still that is not that much of an advantage against other 2's in the post. Shandon is a slasher, like the Rock says "Know your role." Shandon also does not have tremendous jumping abilities. Watch his dunks.

actually, i guess i shouldn't worry considering steve's learning curve. he will really learn from watchin these 2 games. Plus, Rudy now knows that Shandon can score in the big games, so he will likely try to get shandon more involved. [IMG]

When he dunks, He doesnt have the ball in his hands.. It seems like its going to slip out of his hands in the middle of the year.

I can stand proud. I have been a Shandon Anderson cheerleader the whole season. He hustles game in and game out, and it has finally paid off. I didn't know he could hit that good though. Kind of answers the question as to whether or not he can play the three.

Actually, Anderson, Mobley and Drew were all in the game at the same time against Phoenix tonight. I would assume Anderson was playing the three???

I really like that, and it looks like Walt should sit and Shandon should start at the three with Cuttino and Stevie. What spark would we have off the bench in that case. Oh Sam! Calling Sam Mack!

GO SHANDON! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

    GO ROCKETS!

Sad to say, Williams is the BIGGEST bust we've had on this team is a while. He's bench material....Go Shandon GO !

Anderson is finally showing why the Spazz made such a huge mistake by letting him go. He has found his groove. Can he keep it up? Whenever i saw him play for the Spazz, all i saw was hustle, something Utaah sorely misses now.

And the hustle is finaly paying off for Houston. 53 points, phew. Anderson does need to start, if for no other reason than to become even more familiar with his teamates. Wizard will snap out of his dissapppearong ax.
