    Unfortunately
Zach lowe and windhost on tonight's podcast, reported Westbrook has very little interest or trade value at the moment. This is after talking to a bunch of team executives and scouts.

Is Jrue really that much better than Bledsoe?

If Giannis walks, which he won’t, this would be on par with the Boston-nets trade

Statistically jrue isn't much better and actually has a lower ts% and ws/48 than bledsoe the past 3-4 regular season.

But bledsoe has also been horrific in the playoffs the past few seasons. Borderline unplayable bad.

Plus for some reason aside from stats, it just seems (which admittedly is strange) that jrue is a much better player.

if you see them both play, you realize very easily how much better Jrue is.
That being said, the amount of picks and swaps they gave is massive. They should just payed Brogdon last summer and they will be better of like that.
At least the bucks are going all in on Giannis, wich probably means he will sign his extension on the next few days.

Oh I definitely agree with you that jrue is a much better player... Love his game.

I just feel weird when I can't prove it statistically or in some way other than just saying it lol.

I think the three picks are worth it... 1 to get rid of bledsoes bloated contract and two for holiday. Have to see the details to see if the swap would ben likely or unlikely.

totally agree. Bledsoe is terrible for the Bucks. And letting Brogdon go was crazy.

Very significant upgrade going from Bledsoe to jrue. Bucks are going for it. Good for them.

Imo he's definitely better, especially in terms of iq there's a pretty significant gap, i can see why Bud wanted to make this trade, but that's one hell of a haul for an expiring Holiday.

Two unprotected first! Bucks don't look like they'll be bad enough to have a high lotto pick. But who knows that far down the road. If Giannis walks, then those picks might be pretty good.

Yeah, wow, two unprotected 1sts years away...that's so good there's no reason to think the Rockets won't get an incredible package for Harden.

Bledsoe has been garbage in the postseason. iirc he also doesn't have a very good personality and pouts a lot.

Regarding Jrue: I think on JJ Redick's podcast, he had Durant on as a guest and they both talked about how the NBA's "all-defense" teams usually undervalue certain players - when they got to talking about who should actually be on it, both stated that Jrue is the best perimeter defender in league. Can't remember if they were talking about guard or wing (or even both) but yeah.

Really speaks volumes about your defense if you have a really good 3pt shooter and a generational bucket-getter praising your defense.
