Well woo-hoo for me, I guess. After about a year out of U.T. I finally found a decent job (at least that's what they tell me) and had to let you guys know about it - especially since my previous employment produced a few BBS rants about the unholy conditions I had to work in. Anyway, I'm now a personal loan advisor w/ Home123 - we've got commercials on the air featuring Bob Villa and we're the official mortgage company of Nascar (there's an official mortgage company of Nascar?). Home123 also happens to be the nation's largest nonconforming lender, so, if any of you folks are looking to purchase a house, refinance your current home, or get a home equity loan, and your credit isn't so hot - let me know 'cause I'd love to help my Clutch BBS brethren out. Also, they keep telling me that 'personal sources' are very important and since I can't think of a source more important than the BBS, I had to give it a shot. Let me know if there's any realtors/builders/collectors/investors/etc. out there, so I can add you to my list of contacts. I apologize about the shamelessness of this, but hey, I warned you. Thanks guys!
Are you guys actually the lender or just the originator? Just curious. If you're the lender, do you know what you do with the mortgages - do you just hold them/collateral, securitize, etc.
I am glad to see that you're working again. I was so pissed after that 2003 season when you got fired, man. Congratulations, Turbo! edit: pgabriel, I didn't see your post.
JayZ, Yeah, we're an actual lender, so we would place a lien on the home as collateral, although, since we're a subsidiary of New Century Mortgage, I think that's the name that would appear as lienholder. Good question though, it helps me learn things when questions are asked. pgabriel, I knew it was only a matter of time before someone would bring that up. Its a sore subject w/ me as I would much rather be flying through the air making jaw-dropping dunks than dealing with paperwork. J/k though, just as Clutch is not the bear, I am not the flying acrobat - as much as want to be. Max, Thanks!
