Even since the summer of 2004, it had become apparent to everyone what the rockets need to do to become a real contender:

1, find perimeter players who can hit open shots.
2, find Tmac a back up player
3, find Yao a blue collar pf who can also make open shots.

Now FOUR years have passed, let us look at what the office have achieved:
    1, fail.
TMac still draws double team, but can you name me one rockets player who has been making open shots in this series?
    2, fail.
Who Tmac's back up is? freaking Luther Head? are you kidding me?
3, success, but not until this year.

Shame on this organization. You ask them 3 things to do, and they failed TWO.

TMac and Yao's best years are being wasted. I really feel sorry for them, playing so hard, through injuries, risking their health and their career, without much help but still fighting, only knowing that year after year this cheap organization will keep letting them down!

    Idiot.

This was the hardest working Rockets team I have watched in years. They had plenty of pieces in place to win if Yao hadn't gone down. There is no shame to this team or organization whatsoever.

Yao would have made this a 5 game series, we would have already been in LA prepping for the 2nd round.

It's not the GMs fault that our players get hurt.

Rafer, T-Mac, Yao, Landry, Francis, Bonzi etc.

    The list just goes on.

Actually, it's not shooters that are the big problem, it's guys who can get their own shot. We don't have any. We've tried Steve Francis and Bobby Jackson and Kirk Snyder and Bonzi Wells and even Aaron Brooks. But, we need guys on the perimeter who can score without being set up for shots because, right now, we only have one of those and it has been that way for 3 seasons now.

This thread is battling with Copter in the running for the 2008 Golden Turd Award for Worst Thread of the Year. Nice one.

would love to see you do it. Seems so easy.

People say. "oh lets get maggette" Lets get so and so.

Well if it was that easy then it would have happened. You guys see things just from our own perspective. You gotta remember that teams arent just going to throw quality players at us. Grow some brains people.

Do you really think teams are going to give us legitimate scorers like Maggette and Josh Howard for our trash. IT AINT HAPPENIN PEOPLE.

We are fine the way we are.

will and chemistry can get you so far. it's time for a change. no way this team will get healthy. battier is getting old, and i'll bet you, this injury is not his last one. but, i mean, if we can upgrade without trading battier, great. but how? we have no assets... except for mcgrady (doubtful) bobby's contract, several low salary players.

    ibtl.

Honestly, we just got a new GM and Coach. Sacramento didn't get to the Finals with Adelman in one year...

Hell, we did amazing for our 4 starters being injured.

    Just stop posting, Bob.

not to give this thread legs, but...

We gotta jettison the one dimensional players. Head, Hayes, and Novak...as people they are great but I don't think we'll be going deep in the playoffs if we continue to depend on them.

Morey needs to keep upgrading our deficiencies.

    No Rudy Gay talk please.

Say whatever you want about how stupid my thread is, but how could you explain to me why we have been hearing the same "they don't get much help" for so LONG?

    Shame on the rockets organization:

    For Yao foot injury.

    For Rafer bad leg

    For Battier bad ankle.

For T-Mac bad knee and shoulder.

I disagree, I believe the Rockets organization has done a wonderful job. Last year we had Chuck Hayes as our starting PF, now we have 2 legit starters in Luis and Carl and still have Chuck to come in.

I think what has become very apparent is that either Yao or Tracy need to go. Since they have been Rockets neither Yao nor Tracy has finished a season together. One of them always gets hurt!

In my opinion its time to trade Yao. He has been hurt now 3 yrs in row! Lets get max value for him before his next couple of injuries end his career.

I wouldn't really say we tried Snyder. He hardly sniffed the floor under Adelman's watch. He actually looked pretty damn good the last time we played the Wolves.

Depends on how you see it.

Lack of back up for Yao was the major reason of Yao's injury. He was simply over used. Tallest/heavest guy in the team played the heavest minutes in the most physical position. Whose fault was that?

I don't believe Yao was over used. Look at stats for star big men in the league, they ALL put up big minutes.

I agree on getting rid of Yao . He has not even SNIFFED 60 games a season for the past 3 seasons!!!!!

Trade him to the Clippers for Brand and Maggette. Then bring in Miller .

    All bets are in.

    Win NOW!!

Man, there is only 1 thing that is important...We have this manager called Daryl Morey...

and he'll get things done...great things...

he's only had 1 year, and he's gotten Scola...and Landry
