    The trend is on. Players choosing the players they want to play with. Now we're paying them to dunk a ball. Sometimes superstars can ruin a good thing.

    I still think they should get those street ballers to do the dunk contest. NBA players are boring and they don't want to risk injury.

    I am liking this. How badass would that dunk contest be?

    Seeing the best players try to out-dunk each other would be very entertaining even if they do a not so technical dunk like the young guys are currently doing

    It would be fun to raise the stakes though. A bunch of sponsors make it 5 or 10 mil for winning the contest. Not individually to specific players.

    Huzzah, free publicity! Of course, they know that Kobe won't do it and they'll never have to pay out the $5m. But, if you can get a couple of articles written for free, why not offer?
