    Thats what PM Blair reckoned in his short speech, that it was over G8. It was mentioned in the news here that the explosions were "designed" to cause confusion and not alot of casualties/fatalities. The example they gave was that there was over 10,000 (or could have even been over 100,000 can't quite remember) people in Trafalgar Square to celebrate the announcement of the winner of the 2012 games. However these attacks would have been designed and planned for months before now.

    Hope they catch whoeveri s responsible and bring them to justice.

    I do not think it is over the G8. I think that because the G8 was held there, they did it at this time.

    A unkown group has claimed this attack, they said it was because of the english in afghanistan and Irak.

    I've been hearing that London was expecting something for some time, and have been making preparations. I only hope that all rescue work is going as efficiently as possible, and while many have died and are injured that many will be saved as well.

    It is a sad day.

    G-8 Just got a little stronger. These G-8 guys will bond over this event. If you ask me, the Terrorists should not target big events to make noise, because the more legitimacy they get, the less impact they will actually have. It begins their demise as they keep uniting everyone against them.
