I am so glad we drafted Yao Ming. 1. He will improve his game and he is already better than Cato 2. He is a learner, willing to get better, many players and coaches that have seen him in the past have said he has improved alot in the last couple of years. 3. He will get stronger, Rocket strength coach has already talked about his weight training 4. He will adjust to the NBA game- you could see improvement just from the Spurs game to the Sixers game 5. He will be respected by his teammates because he has the fire to win and he is not looking for personal glory 6. He will adjust to the way fouls are called because he is a smart player. The referees will respect him in time 7. He is building a good relationship with Steve Francis My only concern for Yao Ming is that he stays healthy- the rest will be history
SEVEN reasons why Yao Ming? How about 1,2,3,4,5,6,7.....count 'em......SEVEN blocks by Eddie Griffin! As Yao continues to adjust and develop he'll keep being the focus of the opponent's offense leaving Eddie free to swat away!
GREAT POINT Eddie is a proven shot blocker, however, this will be an amazing year for him due to the fact other teams will worry mainly about Ming blocking their shots. I do not think many teams know what kind of a shot blocker Eddie really is. My guess would be he will have atleast a couple triple doubles this year in points, rebounds, and shot blocks! EG#1!!!
addition: Rocket's will earn more money because of him & he can carry more bags & luggage for Glen Rice & co because of his size
