Tonight the All Star teams will be announced in the chat, and played live with the GMs cheering.

Who will go? Last season saw a few surprises, but to prepare for them this season her you have the run down of the eastern alternatives:

    Centers:
    Raef LaFrentz, Nets -- 12.5/8/2
    Marc Jackson, Heat -- 10.5/7
    Jeff Foster, Magic -- 13.5/10
    Michael Olowokandi, Hawks -- 10/8/1.5
    Brad Miller, Bulls -- 11.5/7.5
    Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Cavs -- 10/7
    Nazr Mohammed, Pistons -- 12/10
    Elden Campbell, Pacers -- 14/7/2
    *Antonio Davis, Raptors -- 14/10
*Kwame Brown, Hornets -- 17/7.5/1 (added in edit, although I think the game has him at PF)

3 will have to go and one of these will start!! Ouch
 If Davis or any of the other is considered PF first by the game they can't be selected here.

    Power Forwards:
    Antawn Jamison, Nets -- 20/9/2/1
    Chris Webber, Heat -- 24/10.5/4.5/1.5/1.5
    Antoine Walker, Wizards -- 22/8/4
    Tim Duncan, Bucks -- 25/14/3/2

3 will go and only 1 of these will start - I guess I could list a few more, but what can they expect against these 4?

    Maurice Taylor, Sixers -- 16/6/1.5
    Othella Harrington, Knicks -- 15/7
    Rodney White, Celtics -- 15/7
    Tyrone Hill, Pacers -- 13/9
    Vin Baker, Bucks -- 17.5/8

    Small Forwards:
Shawn Marion (Finals MVP), Sixers -- 13/8/1
    DerMarr Johnson, Celtics -- 19/5.5/5
    Scottie Pippen, Nets -- 13/7/5
    Pau Gasol, Magic -- 16/6/2/1.5
    Tracy McGrady, Hawks -- 19/7/3.5/2/1
    Jamal Mashburn, Bulls -- 20/5/4.5
    Cedric Ceballos, Pistons -- 16.5/6
    Jonathan Bender, Pacers -- 19/5.5/2/1.5
    Isaiah Rider, Bucks -- 17/4/3.5

2 small forwards will be selected

    Shooting Guards:
    Jason Richardson, Knicks -- 18/5
    Michael Dickerson, Knicks -- 21/4/3
    Reggie Miller, Celtics -- 19.5/3/2
    Jim Jackson, Nets -- 17/5/3
    Courtney Alexander, Hawks -- 17/5.5/3
    Cuttino Mobley, Hornets -- 18/3.5/2.5
    Derek Anderson, Bulls -- 17.5/3.5/4
    Vince Carter, Cavs -- 27/8/5/1/1
    Allen Iverson, Pistons -- 26/3/4.5/2
    Joe Forte, Raptors -- 18/5/3

2 shooting guards will be selected

    Point Guards:
    Gary Payton, Sixers -- 23/6/9/1.7
    Mike Bibby, Sixers -- 15/4/8.7/1.5
    Keyon Dooling, Celtics -- 15/4/8.5
    Stephon Marbury, Nets -- 22/3/8.6/1.3
    Baron Davis, Bulls -- 12/3.5/8.3
    Sam Cassell, Pistons -- 18/4/10

And 2 point guards will round out the eastern 12 selections. If anybody not listed now makes it I will be floored.

I will be back later with my 12 chosen ones...
