It's easy: We're playing at the level of our opponents.

Steve Francis is incredible, but he's not yet developed the discipline to stay at a high level when the other team is slacking. Since he sets the tempo for the team, everyone else follows.

    Just one fan's opinion.

    Let this be your mantra:

Steve Francis is just a rookie.
Steve Francis is just a rookie.
Steve Francis is just a rookie.
Steve Francis is just a rookie.

This is the first year he has ever had to play more than 40 games in a season. If the Rocks had more veterans, maybe we could expect more even play from the team, picking the team up when Francis has an off game.

BTW, beating Denver in Denver is no gimme with the high allitude and all.

Man, I tossed and turned in my bed all night last night, hearing those words!!!

STEVE FRANCIS IS JUST A ROOKIE.
STEVE FRANCIS IS JUST A ROOKIE.

I can just now talk about it. Anyway, he is just a rookie. It is unbelievable what expectations we place on a young guy like this that is just getting his feet wet in the NBA. In 1/2 of an NBA season, he is the go to guy, the leader, the big man on campus....and he is still learning how to play the pro game. SCARY huh? He really is a treat to watch and he is going to be one of the brightest stars in the league for years to come.
