    It is in perfect condition...

    I just bought a 500 GB external and am just trying to recoup a little money...

    sorry to de-rail, i have the same external hard drive, just 500GB, picked it up a few weeks back. is it possible to play my music that i transfered over to the external harddrive directly from it? i mainly bought it as a backup in case something happens to my comp at some point..but was thinking if i could just play music from it directly i would delete my music off my internal. thanks for any help

    I play music/watch movies off mine all the time. That was my reasoning for purchasing it. I wanted to keep my internal HD empty.

    I have all my music/movies/tv shows on my external drive. It works just fine straight off the external drive
