After being arrested the police checked out his garage and proceeded to seize all his cars which included: 2 Bugatti Veyron: $1,680,000 2 Enzo Ferrari: $613,000 Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé: $491,000 Rolls-Royce Phantom: $421,500 Ferrari 599 GTB: $318,000 Ferrari California: $220,000 Porsche 911 GT3: $125,000 Not Bad. And just for good measure the Police found more than $1.1 million in cash inside the cars. It’s like combining breakfast with sex….lush." Here are a few of the pics from the website. are you asking the question? yes, there is a lot of money in drug dealing and yes, it is also illegal with a severe punishment
No, it wasn't a question. It was rhetorical and more of a joke... I don't encourage selling drugs or even doing them. Was just looking to share a cool story along with some cool pics, bro.
I would actually fear the drug trade more then prison. I think your life expectancy decreases substantially by selling at a high volume like that.
Read Chapter 3 of "Freakonomics" http://www.pikenet.com/dispatch/dispatch05/dispatch0851.html So why do drug dealers still live with their mothers? Because most of them don't make much money. Based on unbelievably detailed records of an actual Chicago neighborhood gang, Levitt found that, while the leader (who's now in jail) made $100,000 a year (tax free) over four years, his officers made only $700 a month and his foot soldiers made only $3.30 an hour, less than the minimum wage. "They had no choice but to live with their mothers." Who knew?
yeah, those are little kids though. I grew up in a neighborhood where friends I had sold crack, when you're fifteen, $100 in a few days is a lot of money. but its probably not like in Chicago which is probably a little more hardcore where they pay little lookouts and such.
I used to sell single pages of nudie and Lowrider magazines for a $1 a piece. I ate chicken tender baskets every day
I imagine that this guy is the top 1/2 of 1% of income earners of "drug industry professionals". I think if you take the top 1/2 of 1% in most professional fields, particularly profit driven ones, you will see lots of people conspiciously consuming that kind of material wealth without breaking the law. I mean, this guy has nothing on Goldman CEO Lloyd Blankfein and his $53.4 million dollar salary for FY 2006.
This person was a drug lord (operative word is lord). You can't compare some poor black people selling dope in Cabrini Green to a man whose life resembles one from a character in a Guy Ritchie movie. He represents a small percentage of people in this trade.
My dad knew a guy in his school who dealt, guy made tons of money... then he got busted and sent to jail for 10 years.
Ja, I did that in 5th and 6th grade too. Me and my buddies also ran four card monte and all sorts of gambling operations(usually a game of hoops where I'd purposely lose for like a dollar). There's a big trend now with some of these rubber bands that look like animals. There banned at my old school, but not where I go now. I kinda wish they were around when I went, there a hot commodity and going for money then we got back then.
