I watched him come out with his knees taped up when I hadn't seen that (consistently) from him. TMac say's he's 100%, but I don't think so. Game 1, he went down a couple of times hard & took awhile to get up. All of his "hot streak" moments, all jumpers, not one dunk/layup, save for a dipsy-doodle here or there. I think TMac is hurting. There's not ENOUGH pep in his step for the current situation. We need to be driving to the hole a whole lot mo'!
I think a lot of people are still hurting over that miserable loss yesterday. Personally, I'm trying to avoid all videos and highlights from that debacle. But I'm still addicted to Clutchfans....
It is *NOT* a highlight flick from last night. It's like a Rockets' highlight film of season's past. I don't think there's much current in it at all . . . WHICH IS MY POINT! I wouldn't go so far as to say TMac has lost a step, but that he's not 100%! I think the vid proves it.
The difference is he's not a dunking fiend like he used to be. He used to throw it down with authority; now the so-called "slams" are more like finger rolls or rim-height layups. In short, I agree with you: he's lost something. Whether it's his fire, his hops, or his friggin' car keys, he's lost something.
Am I the only one - or is it hard the remember the last time T-mac hit a bunch of three's for any kind of consistent stretch since his back problems?
